Sneaky Greens Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Cooking Time


  • 1 cup frozen greens (kale, spinach, swiss chard, etc...)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 8 thin slices of frozen cucumber
  • 1/4 cup chopped frozen celery
  • 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries or mixed berries
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 11/2 cups milk or milk substitute
  • 2 Tbsps cacao or unsweetened dark coco powder 
  • 1 scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder (I really like Sunwarrior Classic Plus Raw Plant-Based Protein Powder) 
  • Added water or milk to adjust to desired consistency if needed
  • Optional for added sweetness if needed: 1 pitted date, 1/2 a banana
Optional toppings: 
  • Frozen Wild Blueberries
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Cocoa Nibs 
  • Coconut Flakes


  1. Place all ingredients into the blender
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Add additional milk or water if needed to reach desired consistency
  4. Top with your favorite toppings if you like
  5. Enjoy all the sneaky green goodness! 
Note, if using fresh and not frozen ingredients add in a few ice cubes.
